What's The Difference Between Royal Belize And Other Private Islands?
The word "exclusive" means many things to different people, but to us it captures something very specific: not only is Royal Belize a destination experience for the discerning traveller who seeks absolute privacy and exemplary service, but it is literally for the exclusive use of a single guest or party.
Will There Be Other People On The Island?
Only you and the staff; there will not be any other guests on the island. Also, the staff resides in an area separated by water and connected with piers, so if the guests wish, interaction with the staff can be reduced to an absolute minimum, even during meal service and essential tasks such as housekeeping.
How Many Staff Will There Be?
For two guests, we will have a minimum of seven staff at your service, including the chef, concierge, and housekeeping and groundskeeping crew. Our staffing level may increase with larger groups, depending on the circumstances.
How Big Is The Island?
The island is approximately seven and a half acres, or three hectares, including the marina, staff, and equipment areas.
What's Included In The Rates?
All meals, standard beverages, accommodations, and boat transfers upon arrival and departure are included in the rates. Our boat and skipper are available for additional transfers and activities for a small fee. Also included is unlimited use of our WaveRunners, kayaks, fishing and snorkelling equipment, and all other games and sporting equipment, as well as full concierge services to organise any activity or otherwise assist you in any way possible.
What Do We Need To Bring?
You should bring your own sunscreen, personal hygiene products, and favourite toiletries. We also recommend foot protection such as water shoes or reef shoes. We supply bath products and have a supply of standard medicinal remedies available if you find yourself in need.
What Are The Check-in And Check-out Times?
The earliest arrival time to the island is 11:00 a.m., and our latest departure time from the island is 3:00 p.m.

Are Children Welcome?
Absolutely! However, please note that our houses are designed primarily for adult individuals and couples and that we are surrounded by nature; therefore, we’ll want to discuss the subject to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.
Is Smoking Allowed?
Smoking is not allowed inside the houses, but it is allowed in the palapa and all outdoor areas.
What Are The House Amenities?
Each house features an air-conditioned bedroom with ceiling fans, a king-size bed, a stocked refrigerator, a personal stereo, an iPod Touch preloaded with music, an iPad (loaded with videos, books, and games, and a private email address at which we notify you of the weather forecast, menu and activity suggestions, and more), and complimentary WiFi.
What About Gratuities?
Gratuities are completely discretionary and unless requested otherwise by the guest are shared evenly between the concierge, chef, and staff, which collectively will number at least six people. Depending on your satisfaction, gratuities of up to 10% are suggested as a guideline.
